Disclaimer
This page is about boundaries: what DongBiBa can help you with, and what we can't carry for you. It looks like boilerplate, but every line is real. Two minutes here is worth it.
The content is education, not investment advice
Every article, table and example on DongBiBa is education and information sharing for you, and does not constitute investment, financial or legal advice. We don't know how much money you have, whether you can afford to lose it, or how much risk you can stomach — so what we write can't make a decision for you. Whether to buy, how much, and when to buy or sell are all yours to decide, and the outcomes are yours to bear.
Crypto is a high-risk thing
Bitcoin, Ethereum, the many tokens, and the stablecoins — prices can all swing wildly. History is full of projects that ended at zero or whose operators vanished, leaving holders with nothing (Celsius, Voyager and FTX in 2022 are recent reminders that even large-looking platforms can fail). Beyond price risk there's platform risk, regulatory risk, technical risk and theft risk. No asset can guarantee a profit, and crypto least of all. Anyone telling you it's a "sure thing," "principal protected" or "passive income" can be treated, almost without exception, as a scam.
Leverage and contracts: you can lose 100%
The site occasionally mentions contracts and leverage, mainly so you can recognize them and steer clear. To be explicit once more: leveraged trading can wipe out 100% of your principal, and you can even end up owing the platform. It magnifies not just gains, but the speed of losses. For a beginner, the safest move is to avoid leverage and contracts entirely and start small with plain spot buying.
Content can go out of date — defer to the official source
Crypto moves fast — exchange interfaces change, sign-up and verification rules get adjusted, and regulations shift from place to place. We try to date when each page was last checked, but content can still fall behind the latest. So when you actually go to do something, treat the exact steps, fees and rules on your platform's official pages and official statements as authoritative — don't go purely by what we wrote.
Third-party links, at your own risk
The site sometimes links to exchanges, third-party websites or tools. Those sites are outside our control, and we can't guarantee their content, security or privacy practices. What happens after you click through is for you to judge and bear. One pointed reminder: before entering any password, verification code or seed phrase on any site, make sure the address really is the official one, and watch out for phishing.
Our relationship with Binance
DongBiBa is an independent third-party information site. It is not Binance's official website, and there is no affiliation, agency or joint-operation relationship of any kind with Binance. We take part in Binance's public referral program: when you register and trade through our links, we may earn a referral fee from the platform. That fee is paid by the platform and never adds any cost to you, nor does it change your prices or rights on the platform. We disclose this relationship honestly, so you know what you're looking at when you see a referral link.
Statement of liability
We do our best to keep content accurate and easy to follow, but we make no guarantee of its absolute accuracy, completeness or timeliness. For any decision you make based on this site's content, and any loss arising from it, DongBiBa accepts no liability. The site's purpose is clear: help you understand, help you avoid traps. Making the decision and bearing the outcome is always you.
