Privacy policy
DongBiBa is a set of article pages for you to read. You come, you read, no sign-up, no login, no forms. This page makes clear which of your information we do and don't touch.
We don't actively collect your personal information
There's no account system, no registration form, and we won't ask for your name, phone number, ID or bank details. In normal browsing, you don't need to give us any personally identifying information. Only when you choose to email us do we see what's in your message — and that part is up to you: whether to tell us, and how much.
Analytics and cookies
To know which articles get read and whether the site runs smoothly, we use two analytics tools. One is Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets cookies such as _ga in your browser so it can tell visits apart and count rough traffic. The other comes with Cloudflare, the network that delivers our pages: Cloudflare automatically adds its Web Analytics script (loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com), which reports page views and how long a page took to load. Cloudflare's own description says this script doesn't use cookies or localStorage, and doesn't try to recognize you from your IP address or browser. Both look at overall trends — like "how many times this article opened today" — and not at identifying you as a specific person.
If you'd rather not be counted, install a tracker-blocking extension in your browser; it keeps both scripts from loading. Turning off cookies on its own won't do that, because the GA4 script still runs and reports the visit. Either way, you can read every article here.
Your rights under GDPR and similar laws
Because this site is reachable from the EU, UK and other regions with data-protection laws, we want to be clear about your rights. Under the GDPR and comparable frameworks, you generally have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies. Since we don't run accounts or collect identifying data in normal use, the main personal data we ever hold is whatever you put in an email to us. To exercise any of these rights — for example, to ask us to delete an email you sent — just write to [email protected], and we'll act on it.
Clicking a referral link or using an invitation-code copy control sends an event to GA4 with the action, the control's page section and the page language. A copy event records the control interaction, not confirmation that the clipboard write succeeded.
Third-party services
Page fonts load through Google Fonts. Your browser requests styles and font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives connection information needed for those requests, such as your IP address and browser details, and handles it under its privacy policy.
To display and load the site properly, we use some common third-party infrastructure — things like content delivery (CDN), web fonts and search-engine indexing. When you open a page, these services may receive some technical information (for example, your browser type and the rough time of your visit). That's needed for the site to run, and their practices are governed by each provider's own privacy terms. We don't list every company and clause here, to avoid getting it wrong and misleading you. The one worth naming is our CDN, Cloudflare: delivering a page means it handles your IP address, the URL you asked for and your browser type, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Nothing about your visit is logged on our own server.
Privacy on external links
The site has links to exchanges (such as Binance) and other websites. Once you click out, you're on their turf — your privacy there is governed by their own privacy policies, not by DongBiBa. Before entering any information on another site, take a look at its privacy notice first.
We don't sell your data
This one is simple: we won't package up visit data and sell it to anyone, and we won't use it for anything unrelated to "making the site better." We run this site to help beginners understand crypto, not to traffic in data.
Minors
Crypto is high-risk, and this site's content is for adults. If you're under 18, please don't act on this site's content for anything involving money.
This policy will be updated
If the tools or services we use change, this page changes with them, and the "Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. What you see when you visit is the version in effect at that time.
